Winter season catch up, conditions, events….Global Fat Bike Day

So winter is here but it’s warming up this and next week so we’ll see where that leaves us.

Worked most of the day on the Snowdog…full teardown and inspection, repairs, oil change, lube, adjustments…..

MOC events. If you are planning to ride at MOC over the next two weeks there are a couple events on.

Sat Nov 26th is a Canicross Race. This is a trail run with a twist. Everyone is tethered to their dog! The race will be Saturday from 9-12-ish. So planning an afternoon ride would be a great idea. Come early to check out all the awesome runners and dogs.

Saturday Dec 3rd is our very own Kathy’s N89 Chill Sessions trail run. https://n89.ca

A 5 and 10km trail run and will start in the AM and should wrap up by 1pm. So again, plan an afternoon ride.

OR better yet, participate in Global Fat Bike Day on the Sunday DEC 4th at Mansfield Outdoor Centre!!!  Chili and a bun for purchase, $10 trail passes (if you are member you are covered) and with any luck…GoodLot Brewery will be there providing complimentary samples! (they are waiting on permits so it’s still a maybe). So bring out your Fat Bike (or looking at the weather, very possibly your skinny :0 ) and join in for a fun day of celebrating bikes. TVG will be having a group ride that day for sure!

Trail conditions. I’ll try and get on top of posting trail updates in the Trail Conditions tab. I’ll update when they change and try to stay on top of this.

Wednesday night rides continue through the winter and start from the Main Lodge at MOC at 6pm sharp.
