Our good friends from OCTRA will be hosting a major completive equestrian event this weekend at DCF. They will have use of the Field Parking (which is closed to others) and will likely have 50 or so horse trailers and competitors. They will be using all the equestrian trails and please understand they are actually racing so they will be moving a good pace. They do have right of way at intersections so it is the Cyclists responsibility to slow down at trail crossings and yield to equestrians.
Please be friendly and speak to the riders when you see them to let the horses know you are there and help to enhance our great relationship with them.
This will not affect the trails at MOC as the event remains strickly in DCF. So you can ride without concern when on the MOC trails.
