Hi gang, sorry for the late post…it’s been a busy, productive day!
A bit of rain this afternoon will make the trails exceptional tomorrow. And thanks so much to the efforts today from a heap of trail lovers putting the time and care into the trails, we to now have all of the trails cleared. So everything in MOC & DCF has now been cleared of trees and downfall, hand raked and leaf blown. 60 plus KM’s of that. So sweet buff hero dirt ahead.
A special shout out to those who took the time to help clean up road side. As an FYI, we are likely to ask the County to revisit doing that on the DCF clean up day as we appreciate we all would like to be in the Forest. This year was a bit different as we had such a head start on the clean up after the ice storm. We are hoping to have some trail repair/rerouting this summer so we can all get back out and dig some dirt together 🙂
