Attention Forest Users…Hunting.
It’s Turkey hunting season for the next month. What does that mean…it means that hunters will be present in the Main Tract Monday to Saturday (no firearm discharge permitted by Mulmur on Sundays, just Bow hunting). There are no boundaries to speak of so just keep your head up as they also can be in camo. And wear bright colours….and make noise so they have a chance of knowing you are in the area.
For more details head here….it may help clarify things a bit. I recommend when you see them, politely ask them if they are aware that there are recreational trails and users in the Forest as well. Stay safe….
